Togolese entrepreneurs expected in Australia in May

The 2023 Global Entrepreneurship Congress will take place from May 1 to 4 in Melbourne, Australia, and Togo is once again expected to attend this event organized by the Global Entrepreneurship Network.

Its representative in Lomé, Pascal Edoh Agbové, said Monday that he would lead a Togolese delegation without providing further details at this stage.

“The event celebrates entrepreneurs and brings together the actors of the entrepreneurial ecosystem in the different countries. It has the merit of establishing networks or partnerships for business development or the promotion of entrepreneurship,” he said.

The previous edition took place at the end of March in Riyadh in Saudi Arabia with another participation of Togolese Entrepreneurs.

Melbourne, Australia is Selected as Next Host City for the Global Entrepreneurship Congress. The event is hosted in a different emerging entrepreneurial ecosystem every year and brings upwards of USD 30 million in economic value to the local economy.
