A Togolese delegation led by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Regional Integration and Togolese Abroad, Professor Robert Dussey, was welcomed Thursday by President Paul Kagame.
Bearer of a message from the Togolese head of state Faure Essozimna Gnassingbé, Minister Robert Dussey, was received Thursday in Kigali where he also met his Rwandan counterpart, Vincent Biruta.
“Rwandans, continue to love your country and your leaders. I thank President Paul Kagame for his exemplary leadership and thank you Brother Vincent Biruta for welcoming me,” Robert Dussey wrote in the local language (Kinyarwanda).
“The quality of cooperation between our two countries is remarkable,” added the head of Togolese diplomacy.
Faure Gnassingbé and Paul Kagame meet on several occasions. The two presidents had recently seen each other in the Rwandan capital of Kigali at the Commonwealth summit as Togo joined the organization.
