At the end of the Togo-Benin friendly match on Tuesday evening at the Mardan Sport Complex stadium in Antalya, Turkey, the Togo U23 team was awarded a prize for the best team in this category.
Thibault Klidjé, scorer in Togo’s two under-23 games, was awarded a trophy after playing with his elders against Benin.
Togo have indeed been leading in this category: 1-0 against Tajikistan on Thursday March 25, 2022, the same day that the senior team beat Sierra Leone 3:0 and 3:0 against Malawi last Monday.
A total of 17 U23 players have been invited to this gathering by Coach Paulo Duarte.
