Togolese Head of State Faure Essozimna Gnassingbé received the diplomat’s letter of credence on Monday, April 26, 2021.

“There is a very great potential to be exploited within the framework of cooperation”, said Esra Demir at the end of the exchange with Faure Gnassingbé, before announcing an upcoming review of the framework agreements between Togo and Turkey, “to better strengthen the partnership in the economic and agricultural sectors”.

From June 30, 2014 to December 31, 2018, Esra Demir, 57, served her country as an ambassador in Côte d’Ivoire, before occupying the same position in Togo.
