In Togo, malfunctions were noted Monday and Tuesday on the passenger management platform of Gnassingbé Eyadema International Airport (AIGE), disrupting the normal course of procedures, the Government informed Tuesday evening.
In fact, emails sent by health and airport services to communicate the results of their tests to travelers were not delivered, due to a problem with the email management system.
“The technical teams are actively mobilized to resolve the problem as quickly as possible, and other avenues are being explored”, reassured the executive.
In addition, continues the Government, “it is recommended that users check their spam if the test result has not been redirected.”
“Pending the deployment of these solutions, travelers are encouraged to make arrangements to perform the tests within a reasonable time and ensure to have their result before the day of travel,” further urged the executive.
As a reminder, the traveler management platform was launched a year ago, when the air borders reopened, to easily carry out all travel procedures, in the context of the health crisis linked to the coronavirus.
